We have revamped our evening entertainment schedule for 2009 with new acts. Come and enjoy the night with some great local music in the bar. Take a look a some of what we have on offer
BLUE ZOOTS Their style is basically acoustic blues but transformed into enthusiastic old style ‘R & B’ using material from JJ Cale, Keb Mo, Peter Green, Eric Clapton, and John Mayall to name but a few. For those who are Blues enthusiasts, these guys should not be missed, guaranteed to please the audience.
ELLIE CAMPBELL a stunning young singer songwriter, will be joining BLUE ZOOTS on stage both as part of the band as well as performing her own solo material.
THE ALCHEMISTS are a local band specializing in weddings and functions and have been together for over 4 years. Dougy the lead guitarist knows all the notes. Woody plays bass and sings a bit. Josh, the young whiz kid plays everything, and Keith drives the band along on percussion. They add infectious enthusiasm to good well known music and really get the party going.
REVIVAL are an up and coming versatile 3 piece band who can play a wide variety of musical styles from the rock ‘n’ roll era of the 50’s to todays chart music.
DAVE SMITH with his distinctive husky vocals, playing guitar, keyboard, drum machine and harmonica, he has an endless song list featuring, pop, rock, 60’s, country, soul and ballads.
ROGER BEAMER plays a wide range of music covering 4 decades mainly easy listening.
MILLI TAYLOR a talented 18 year old vocalist who has performed extensively locally and across the South West. Liked to Eva Cassidy and playing a popular mix of styles such as Song Of A Preacher Man & Hallellujah.
COUNTRY ROADS play around with a mixture of styles varying from well know country favourites to popular classics.
LEIGH WIGG a regular at cook island taking part in the north Devon festival. A couple of 50s and 60s songs crop up in the set as well as more modern tracks.
