We have revamped our evening entertainment schedule for 2009 with new acts. Come and enjoy the night with some great local music in the bar. Take a look a some of what we have on offer
BLUE ZOOTS their style is basically acoustic blues but transformed into enthusiastic old style ‘R & B’ using material from JJ Cale, Keb Mo, Peter Green, Eric Clapton, and John Mayall to name but a few. For those who are Blues enthusiasts, these guys should not be missed, guaranteed to please the audience.
THE FOOD FIGHTERS play an eclectic mixture of songs from the 60’s 70’s 80’s 90’s & 00’s. With the participation of the audience, it always makes it a great night wherever they play. Marie on vocals - Ged on guitar - Tim on bass - Jimmy on drums. A great tight unit.

THE AVERAGE BLUES BAND Songs from the likes of JJ Cale, Peter Green, Keb Mo, Eric Clapton and Jon Mayall as well as the more traditional tunes, all get THE AVERAGE BLUES BAND treatment - to give you a red hot, up beat performance, guaranteed to get you up out of your seats and dancing the night away.
REVIVAL are an up and coming versatile 3 piece band who can play a wide variety of musical styles from the rock ‘n’ roll era of the 50’s to todays chart music.
ALEX HARROD draws his influence from a wide variety of artists - his most notable influence is Bob Dylan but he also owes much to the music of Nick Drake, David Gray, Paul Simon, Jeff Buckley, Portishead, Morrissey and many others. Alex’s gentle, acoustic backing combined with his powerful voice brings a unique sound to the songwriter scene.
COUNTRY ROADS play around with a mixture of styles varying from well know country favourites to popular classics. With vocals complimented by harmonies and fresh, fun violin playing!
THE HOTPUNCH bring toe tapping lively music, song and dance to every occasion. The Caller “Dave” brings his natural charm & wit to the floor guiding all through the dances, from those who have never been to a Barn Dance before to those who have.
