70 Acres of woodland recently purchased and developed for your enjoyment and education. See the woodland animals in their natural habitat as you stroll along the three and a half miles of marked nature walks which start and finish on site.

An excellent network of waymarked paths and tracks will take you deep into the beautiful wooded Bittadon Valley.

The tranquility and seclusion offered by this peaceful Devon valley creates a sheltered habitat that is ideal for small song birds and a myriad of wild flowers, attracting many different butterflies and foraging wildlife.

Oaks and Larch tower above the valley floor dominating the skyline creating excellent vantage points for predatory Buzzard. It is not uncommon to see six or more Buzzards either perched on branches or soaring in the skies overhead. Squirrels also use these trees

to create their nests and can often be seen collecting various nuts and feasting on the rich collection of fresh shoots and fungi.

Exploring away from the beaten track can reap rich rewards; streams are often frequented by visiting waterfowl; the well worn Badger runs and the less obvious Deer tracks are waiting to be discovered by the more adventurous.
