Stowford Farm Meadows can justifibly claim to be amongst the top caravan storage sites in the country

The benefits of leaving your caravan with us on Summer Storage are obvious:

You are free to enjoy the beauty of North Devon and the facilities of Stowford Farm Meadows without the worry or hassle of towing your caravan on each visit; not to mention the extra time and petrol wasted with towing.

Come and go whenever you choose and use the site as much as you, your family or relations would like.

Whilst not in use your caravan is parked in the Summer Storage compound.

You make your site booking through Reception in the normal way and the caravan is brought out and put onto a pitch when you wish to use it.

You pay the site fees relevant to the time of your stay as per the normal site tariff.

Caravans must be insured, kept clean and tidy and must be well maintained (services once a year either by yourself or by us).

*Any caravan in Summer Storage must be used on site for a minimum of 14 nights between 1st April and 31st October. In order to guarantee that this obligation is met, we require an additional £70 to be paid with the Summer Storage to cover 14 nights pitch fees. This £70 will be credited to your Storage Account and can he redeemed at the rate of £5 per night against any bookings made during the season. This credit can only be used against bookings made during that season and cannot be used for payment of winter storage, caravan insurance, shop or bar purchases. Any unused credit will not be able to be carried forward to the following season.

Gold Award

CaSSOA Inspectors produced a checklist to tick off when they visited the various storage sites.

Each was given a mark ranging from very good to not recommended - and the overall marks were used to decide whether the site should be given a Gold, Silver or Bronze award.

Criteria used during inspection was; Location; Security; Safety; Protection from the Elements; Access Control. Those acheiving Gold scored "good" or "very good" across the board. Only 31 sites out of 1,200 inspected received a Gold award.

The 'Gold Award' holders are of course 'La creme de la creme'.

These sites are in good sheltered locations and have very high standards of security together with the necessary fire fighting equiptment.

This is the standard everyone should strive for.

Tow On/Off

If required we will tow your caravan onto a pitch for you, ready for when you arrive. Towing fee: £4.80 each way in Low/Mid Season, £6.70 each way in high and peak season(£7.70 on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays in August).
