Fitting New Cassette Pump

Tools:Philips head screwdriver,wire cutters,a gas match

1. Remove toilet roll holder No. 23 in diagram
2. Undo fixing screw At point A and remove pump.
3. Insure that the 12v supply is switched off and cut the supply wire.Cut the wire outside of the housing of the toilet so it is easy to work on.
4. Slide the black plastic shrink rap supplied with the pump onto the wire.
5. Bare back the wire,take off as little as possible so when the shrink rap is fitted it shrinks onto the main white outer housing of the wire and not the inner wires.
6. Fit the two electrical connectors supplied with the pump to the wire.
7. Cut the pump wire to minimalise the amount of slack wire inside the toilet.Still allowing enough for ease of fitting.
8. Slide the plastic pump retaining fixture supplied onto the pump.
9. Bare back the wire taking note of instruction 5.
10. Connect the wires together.With the pump out of the water turn the 12v supply on and check the operation of the new pump.
11. If it is working ok then slide the shrink rap over the connections.
12. Heat the shrink rap up using a flame,a gas match is a good tool for this job,it will start to shrink, keep heating until a small amount of glue is visible at each end.
13. Reattach pump into it's position and test.
